How Nice to be Nice!

How nice to be nice!
To tolerate vice,
And give honour to every perversion.
To love without boundaries,
Ideological quandaries,
And have Faith, but one's own private version.

Absolutely brilliant Chris. I am printing it out to place on the wall above my pc (alongside statues of St T. More, St. J. Fisher and a picture of the HF!
It will be in good company.
May I also quote it sometime please?

Richard - Please feel free to quote me as often as you like - my vanity is curtailed only by sloth.

Seriously, I am honoured and thank you, but as always you are too kind.

Brought a smile to my face. Thank you. Of course, it is entirely possible to love without boundaries whilst also abhoring both vice and perversion.

...of course, I do realise that the love mentioned in your little ditty concerns "ideological quandries" :)

How refreshing to find someone who can write rhymes that both rhyme and SCAN (a rarity!) Add to that a classic rhyme scheme (AABCCB) and you have achieved a real gem.

And the content, of course, is flawless: 'what oft was thought but ne'er so well expressed.'

Here endeth the mutual admiration society...
