Mike - Great relief, and, less charitably than you, I hope a big, fat custard pie in the face for Cruddas.
I shall of course pray.
I do not consider a custard pie in the face necessarily inconsistent with prayer for the empied. I probably shouldn't encourage you in the thought!
That most of us are either too ready to or too timourous to or just to blasé about the whole thing, Does NOT mean we should NEVER consider using the language of the whip to get certain types of behaviour-in the persons of those so behaving, each wi' s own name and surname and "connects", out of God's house - after all none were banished, nothing stopped them coming back as penitent and joyful worshippers, and I expect many did just that.
The lesson will have smarted.
