Trevor Phillips - Who?

The insolence of this man, who is boss of the UK equalities commission, and has stated that "an old time religion incompatible with 'modern society' is driving the revival of the Catholic Church", is staggering.

I seem to remember that he disagreed with K. Livingstone over 'multiculturalism', claiming that all British people should adhere to the 'core' values of British society. I, in my innocence, thought that the core was the inedible part of the apple which one throws away.
