U.K. Child Protection: A Running Sore

Thanks to Lawrence England at - http://thatthebonesyouhavecrushedmaythrill.blogspot.com/2011/08/christopher-brooker-on-child-protection.html - for his first-rate and ever-readable blog, for the link to this disgraceful story - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/8672670/Child-protection-wreaks-havoc-on-a-loving-family-once-again.html

I ask you to read both.

Apparently, in the opinion of the great minds who run social services in the U.K., you are not fit to bring up your own child or grandchild if you lack carpets.

I intend to write more on this when my boiling rage and the smell of blood at the back of my nose have subsided.

What??? This is crazy. The social workers need to be sent away to the psyche ward of some hospital. I hope this outrageous, tragic case gets more attention in the media.

Teresa - Sadly this is U.K. normality.

Sick U.K. joke: What's the difference between a social worker and a rottweiler?

Answer: You might get your child back from the rottweiler.
