It seems that only my angry or uncharitable posts get any reaction.
I am tired of looking for things to be angry and uncharitable about.
I worry about being a cause of anger and uncharity in others.
I'm going to give this blog a rest - I don't know for how long.
Thanks and apologies.
Hatred Explained

So, what is emerging one week after Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination?
The assassin was the “boyfriend” of a male who fancies himself a woman.
That is, h...

Don't look for things to be angry about. Look for beautiful and good things to post. It's a good exercise :D (Hey, do as I say, not as I do :D )You'll have noticed how much easier it is to gossip and moan in conversation than to talk about holy things. Shows, I suppose, that we spend less time thinking about scripture and the truths of the faith than about trivia, preferably slightly bitchy trivia.
Do you read "Enlarging the Heart"? Mark doesn't get many comments, but it's a much more interesting blog than Fr Zuhldorf's.
ps you're not on britcat.blogspot.com, are you?
Chris,
I'm sorry to hear this! Sometimes people just rest in the good, rather than react. It's a little like when your children cry because they're hungry and you give them the bottle, they settle down content -sometimes even fall asleep--but it's good.
Peace.
Don't rest for too long. A large JD may help :)
Oh no! I am going to really miss reading your posts. Please, don't stay away too long. I love your blog! I may have become impassioned but your blog has never caused me to become angry. It sounds like you need a small break but I hope to see a post from you within the next couple weeks. God Bless and peace.
berenike - Thank you for your good advice. I'm now following "Enlarging the Heart". I'm not on britcat.blogspot.com, and note sure I'm eligible, as I live in Poland.
Carol - thank you. Sweet picture! I've got a blog in my head, but it's a sad one, about Generał Fieldorf Nil, which I will probably put up soonish.
Richard - I guess you know me to well! :) With just ice this time.
Teresa - Thank you and God bless. I'm working on something positive - ish!
I'm all about telling everyone else what to do!
I live in Poland. My co-bloggers live in Germany and Austria ... :D
Christopher.....of course, receiving comments is not a measure of success. More important is the pleasure your blog gives a lot of people, myself included. Haydn said the rosary when he dried up....something to consider...before the JD!
Gonna miss the deadpan satire Left -Footer,..but I understand. We all need time to recharge the batteries and truly discern where God is calling us!
berenike - I've asked to be listed on britcat.blogspot. Thanks for the tip :-)
Richard - The JD is 80 miles away, so Rosary it is. Another reason, new to me, for liking Haydn. But please don't fuel my delusions of blogospherical grandeur ;-D
Marco - You're a great encouragement. Thanks indeed!
From now on, less Bishop-bashing and more Sweetness and Light.
Sweetness and light is hard for me too, ha ha!
I appreciate your comment on my blog. I'm sure you are a great witness for Christ!
Please don't stop posting - unless you really have to.
Ttony - Thank you. I was just waiting for a chance to say something positive, not polemic, charitable, full of Matthew Arnold's "sweetness and light" - you know what I mean.
I'm sure it's possible, with or without JD :-D
Leila @ Little Catholic Bubble. Thank you - I really enjoy following your blog. God bless.
