It seems that only my angry or uncharitable posts get any reaction.
I am tired of looking for things to be angry and uncharitable about.
I worry about being a cause of anger and uncharity in others.
I'm going to give this blog a rest - I don't know for how long.

Don't look for things to be angry about. Look for beautiful and good things to post. It's a good exercise :D (Hey, do as I say, not as I do :D )You'll have noticed how much easier it is to gossip and moan in conversation than to talk about holy things. Shows, I suppose, that we spend less time thinking about scripture and the truths of the faith than about trivia, preferably slightly bitchy trivia.
Do you read "Enlarging the Heart"? Mark doesn't get many comments, but it's a much more interesting blog than Fr Zuhldorf's.
ps you're not on britcat.blogspot.com, are you?

I'm sorry to hear this! Sometimes people just rest in the good, rather than react. It's a little like when your children cry because they're hungry and you give them the bottle, they settle down content -sometimes even fall asleep--but it's good.

Oh no! I am going to really miss reading your posts. Please, don't stay away too long. I love your blog! I may have become impassioned but your blog has never caused me to become angry.
