Madame chairman! On a point of order! I had never heard that altar boys was a case of generic, or inclusive masculine : how should they be, is there some part of the anglosphere where they are , other than than male only servers, aka alarboys? I know a pp who called the girls serviettes...., and altar servers as a generic has caught on.

Boys has been misused enough without being generic.

Mike Cliffson - I stand corrected and apologise (stumbles humbly to the euthanasium).

I love 'serviettes'. Maybe 'altar-boyettes'?

God bless!
