Where Does Authority Lie?

Once I was an ultramontanist, because I mistrusted Bishop Piquant Pickles, the Rev. Bogus Smirk, and their like.

Now that we have Pope Wildmouth, the loose cannon, I do not trust the Vatican.

I do not think I am alone.
