The International Corporation - A Scourge

This is nothing, a mere parody of W. S. Landor's execrable, smug:

I strove with none, for none was worth my strife.
Nature I loved, and next to Nature, Art.
I warmed both hands before the fire of Life.
It sinks - and I am ready to depart.

I have no particular company or person in mind.

I strove with none, but stabbed them in the back.
Power I loved, and next to power, cash.
With you - when your economy's on track,
It falters, and I'm gone - quick as a flash!
