Long ago someone told me of a 'popular' edition of Dickens's "Oliver Twist" which he had seen somewhere. The cover bore a picture of a cowering girl in a torn dress. Standing over her was a muscular young man, his face distorted with lust.
The caption was, "More! More! The boy was insatiable!"
I (only) once went to a well-known pub catering for homosexuals, not from choice, but because it was the boss's birthday party, and the pub was his local. There were plenty of non-homosexuals at the party.
One guest, hugely muscled, dressed in a sleeveless t-shirt and very baggy trousers, was asked, "So which gay clubs do you go to, then?"
"I don't," he replied. "I'm not gay. I'm married with children."
"So who do you go around looking like a f*****g queen?" spat the angry questioner.
